wat's his average ping? try using net_grah 1 to see if it's really his connection.

(he got close all the background apps like ICQ, Kazaa?)

Sometimes my ping was very unstable too.

Ranging from 20 - 1045, back to 30,etc

only things running in background is tiny firewall. maybe i will disable it see how.

yesterday my ping hover around 30+. but after around 10 rounds sure kenna "connection problem" message and have to dc and conect again. xian....
