Razer Lycosa "stuttering" on startup
I am wondering if anybody who bought a Razer Lycosa keyboard is experiencing the same problem as me. On plug in, everything works just fine, reboot after driver installation and all. But, leave the machine off for a day or two, the keyboard's backlight will flicker on and off on startup.
In this state, the keyboard appears to be going through an unstable cycle of powering up and down. Evidenced by the failure to input the keystrokes when it lights off. Which make it impossible for me to logon to Windows. I had to unplug/replug the USB cable before it can stabilise and give me uninterrupted keyboard input. There is no problem until the next one-two days the machine remains powered down again.

The settings are purely for programming the keys, nothing electronic related.

Re: Razer Lycosa "stuttering" on startup
eh try updating your chipset drivers, or else move your usb connector to a different port

try using your computer's main USB port instead of a usb hub.

Re: Razer Lycosa "stuttering" on startup
Most of the time, it is not your CPU's problem. It is just Lycosa acting weird. Here is a thread about Lycosa, stating all the problem. There is NO fix for all the problem, yet.
Razer Lycosa Keys not responding Some of the users have 'fixed' their problems by RMA into a different batch. You should be able to RMA it if you want, since Ban Leong is the company to go to if your Razer products got problem. Ban Leong Technologies Ltd 150 Ubi Avenue 4, Level 4 Singapore 408825 Operating hours: Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm Sat, 9am - 12:30pm Sunday: Closed. Helpdesk Hotline: 6512 9250 |
