Unhappy Wii remote sensitivity

My gf & I recently got a Wii and we are enjoying all the fun of playing but there are some problems with the sensitivity of our Wii remotes.

For eg, when playing Wii Sports - Boxing, we may be swinging away but like only 2 out of 5 punches gets swinged out. Or in Wii Sports - Tennis, we're unable to control the ball to go in the direction we wanted.

I tried tuning the sensitivity in the Wii menu but can't seem to help.

Anyone can advice if I need to change anything or any tuning to be done?

Thx a lot!!!

Re: Wii remote sensitivity

Read the instruction menu carefully. In tennis, it dosen't depend on which direction you hit the ball, but the timing you hit it. eg. the ball is coming on your right, you hit it early and it goes towards the left, hit it late and it goes towards the right.
As for boxing, it's abit annoying, you can only thrust it forward to hit, swinging or anything else won't work. Therefore, its rather hard to hit the part you want.

yeah the controls are limited. if you read the manual you'll find out. basically the games aren;t all the fun.

Re: Wii remote sensitivity

Hiya, quick check how many of you adjust the sensitivity lvl frm the default setting? Is it recommended?

I was trying out WarioWare: Smooth Moves over the weekend and some of the mini games failed to respond accordingly e.g. balancing the broom on the palm by simply moving the controller left and right.

Is it the game or is it just me?

My sensitivity level is set to defult. Don't think you need to change unless you are having problems when playing.

Probably is you. When I first play the game I also have problem with that broom balancing. Then I learnt that for that minigame, if you see that the hand is blinking, and when you move left and right it doesn't follow, it's cos your remote isn't pointing at the tv. Whenever you see blinking, it means your remote isn't point at the tv loh, that's why it doesn't respond...

Point noted. I guess same goes for the return of the volleyball. Tks!

dun stand too far away from the censor bar, max distance for the original censor would be around 5-6 feet, dun stand too near too.
