Re: Game deals thread

I think when buying PSN card in US, you have to get the card "activated" at the store. Not sure what that means, whether have to use the customer's PSN account at the store to activate. Anyway can buy locally, no need to get from there.

Of course, the friend can buy a lot of games from Amazon or Gamestop or any shop. Even Rockband instruments, but you really think she will carry that for you?

Right now, the best gaming item to buy from US is the Nintendo DSi. It's selling US$169.99 there (list price), which is around SGD$255. Local imports are selling SGD$329 or $339, no official warranty. It's small and light, can buy a few back to sell.

I've checked out the games on amazon and gamestop, after converting here and there, not much difference from the price in singapore. Its like just save on shipping only. R1 games really still that high demand now? haha. Wah DSi Scarly cannot sell off then gg, keep and play pokemon platinum lol. Currently DSi sold in SG are imported right? that's why no warranty ah?
maybe will getting getting some blu ray titles like what darklighter said, cheaper also. lol

Worked for me few months ago also. This round I haven't ordered yet (still undecided).

You can try writing in to them instead of calling. Somewhere on the right panel, there is a "contact us" button. Click it to get a form where you can send your question.

Tell me, is there a problem?

I ordered from them twice and the shipment came promptly once it's shipped out.

They only took longer time to process a order.
