Xbox LIVE, billing, or gamertag issues

If you called about the issue previously, have your Service Request number handy.
Be in front of your Xbox 360 console when you call.
Know your Gamertag and Windows Live ID.
Have the answer to the account's secret question or the last four digits of the payment option on file.
Have available the first and last name of the account holder.
Have available the telephone number or the billing address on the account.
Make sure you have set up your secret question on your Windows Live ID.
To specify a secret question and answer on your Windows Live ID
Sign in to your Windows Live ID account with your Windows Live ID.
Under Password reset information, next to Question, click Add or Change.
Enter your current password.
In the Question list, select a question.
In the Secret answer box, type the secret answer to the question.
Go back to the Account Information page. Next to Country/Region, click Add or Change, and fill in your location and birth date.
Click Save.
IMHO, i never use CC to buy Live subscription because of the above problem. rather get the physical card & or buy from PlayAsia. most times it's even cheaper.

Re: Xbox360 FAQ

Guys! I bought my XBox 360 last year but it only had the internal memory of 256MB. So if I have an external harddisk, can I plug it in to act as an extra storage medium?

My Dashboard has been updated so far. I updated it last Monday. Thanks.

Re: Xbox360 FAQ

I'm afraid no one can give you the answer, it looks very tempting but the risk is very high.

Re: Xbox360 FAQ

After the PC Show, I found out that my console supports the old-type harddisk. But the PlayCraft booth only sells the internal slot-in type harddisk. If I want to add in a harddisk, where can I find the old-type mount-on one?

Re: Xbox360 FAQ

Hi gurus

I bought an Xbox 360s half a year back but only got to setting it up last week. However, encountered a HDD problem and when I called the xbox support line, they told me the HDD's warranty is only 90 days.

The HDD is selling for about $170 in Singapore but I noticed that on the adverts here, Focalprice from US is selling for about US$50 only. Is the US HDD compatible with the one locally?

Thanks.

Perhaps you can check the gameaxis xbox bazaar - i recall seeing some bros selling such drives a while back.

Highest capacity available should be 320GB now.
