Funcom's so call beta is not really believeable. AoC their last MMO had a very good beta. But when guys lke me hop over to the actual game, I found the stuff at beta was the only good stuff. I never continue on the sub.
But with the life-sub for the TSW there is no turning back. I really hope they keep the life-sub option open at least a week or two after the actual game launch.

Ok after trying the game for 3hrs, i finally can't take the boredom anymore and logged out.

I absolutely cannot stand the questing. I hate finishing a quest objective and the quest tracker simply updates itself and tells you to do this next and next and next and next. Basically you pick up a quest chain, do what the quest log tells you from step 1 to step x, completed it and pick up another quest chain and go all over the same area again with different objectives this time.

The fun factor is dampened worse by the dull combat. The animations and effects are very basic and you cant feel the weight and impact of the skills. Almost like hitting through air. Zero satisfaction. And basically every skill is to generate resource and executing another skill to spend the resource. BORING.

When you have tried Guild Wars 2 dynamic events, you will never go back to traditional questing. You feel alive in guild wars 2 world. There are constantly events happening everywhere anytime. You are not the center of the universe where time stops unless you initiate that quest. Things happen with or without you in gw2. Everyone cooperates to complete events, to bring down that boss. You can feel the company of playing alongside many people.

TSW feels to me like an online singleplayer experience.

I will give TSW another go later.

IIRedsunsII, agree with everything u said. my total play time is like 2 hours.

but i do like the Matrix style, virtual world concept. like you dunno you are in a real world or fake world..

i watch the live stream for the beta last nite , ok quite funny or the guy funny i dunno. but the music and in game atmosphere quite interesting and believable.

but there's still some boh liao bugs like trap/stuck when he jump onto a garbage dump to escape the zombies. and escaping onto a roof and still dead to zombies when they are attacking downstairs.

its just your another mmo with a refreshing setting, though im not a fan of zombies...
combat feel like tor but alot less flashy, nothing really push me to play more...
almost fell asleep in my 2 - 3 hrs of playing...

maybe cause its beta so thats why things are more limited and boring?

with crash and lag
but its typicial of a beta

cut sence feel like funcome taken some form their older games
and
ingame it feel like they use back some of the Ao npcs ahah big bots ahha
and shadowland if u play AO u will understands
and the diff in real world and fantasy with zombies

well its ok to play but not worth to pay for it
unless its a free to play like gw2 or d3 and let it work it around it with more patch to fix

ii am a AO player for soo many years actually
well tsw feel notbad if its more stable

it does feels like a left 4 dead in a mmo hahahaha

those who try rift before
and warhammer
this gw2 live wack a mob is not new just gw2 make it more fun to play lor

gw2 is stil on my list waiting for the beta again this tue morning sg time

tsw dont make me feel the withdrrawer haha but gw2 does makes me wana go back to play ahhaah
