Got the Email from them. Anyone Else got into the Closed-beta ?
LEGO Universe Closed-Beta Invitation Congratulations, you have been chosen to participate in the Closed-Beta test of LEGO Universe! The Maelstrom is trying to destroy imagination, so hurry up and create a LEGO Universe account with your LEGO ID. You'll be a heroic minifig before you know it. Word is starting to trickle in that folks are receiving invites to the closed beta for LEGO Universe. The NetDevil-developed MMO will feature players battling against the evil Maelstrom who are out to destroy imagination. Players will be able to battle baddies, build whatever your imagination can muster, and hopefully do even half the stuff we saw in that sweet trailer.
For those who received beta invites, the times to test are right now set at certain times on Thursdays (tonight!), Saturdays, and Sundays. Beta testers have been sworn to secrecy, lest sensitive battle plans to defeat the Maelstrom leak, but hopefully details on the gameplay will slowly trickle out as we wait for one of the more intriguing games scheduled for this year, at least for our audience. |
